We have had excellent
show news from Athens, Greece: Hemingway's Theos Apollon became
Champion with excellent judgements. Hemingway's King Leonidas became
Premier & was also Best in Show Neuter Male, Best Opposite Sex & Best
of Best Cat on both days!! Leonidas also got a special Maine Coon
price!
Thankyou Arja & Riikka for
this super weekend and again so amazing show condition! It has been
pure joy to hear the news during the weekend & share your feelings
from Athens. So overwhelming & touching to see these boys on the road
with you with pure happiness! Congrats sweeties! I could not be
happier! <3 |

We proudly present our
newcomer from Poland. Pl*Top Coon Kamaro, bluetabby male, which came
to Finland to cheer our dark winter up. =) Boy has excellent character
and is purring all the time and giving his catmates a real hard time.
;) Kamaro is co-owned with my dear friend Riikka who is also the
fulltime slave of this blue sweetheart, cause Kamaro is living
with Riikka & her family. We are looking forward to see how little
bandit will develop in the next years. Thankyou Beata trusting this

We proudly present purring little bandit from Denmark - Coogan's Miss
Sue "Thereza"! When this little lady -stepped in she conquered
our world immediately. She has amazingly strong self-esteem and
so affecionate and loves to be near you all the time. I am so happy
for this colorful sweetheart, which I have been dreaming about for so
long.... It will be interesting to follow how she will develop. I
already like her impression which is just like her mother. Thankyou
dear Lene & Peter for this cute Miss Bandit, you have made my dream
come true and brought new energy into my heart!! =) <3

Our cattery has got some new solar energy.........;)
We proudly present our purring newcomer from Austria - Enduro of El
Dorado aka "Jakari"....a boy with lots of sunshine and joy. He is
absolytely amazing by nature...the purring does not stop and he loves
to talk - just like our Pablo, who seems to be the best friend of
Enduro... We are very much looking forward to see how this red
sunshine will develop and we definetly have time. Thankyou Ingrid &
Thomas for this cute little sweetheart!! =) He is so loved!<3

Our big and long "Shake, shake Shakira"
is having her second birthday 11.11.2009! She is the most active,
playful, brave, adjustable, affectionate & determined female of our
house and what an appetite! She would like to eat almost everything
she can get! We cannot leave anything to the coffee table, or the
guests cannot get their own "cookies" in time- she is fast! =)
Everything she does, she does it with passion! I am very happy about
this energetic lady and wish to see many many fast years with her from
this day forward! Congratulations my sweet dancing Queen! Her "hips
don't lie" she is a true lady, when she takes proudly takes her steps...
;-) Meidän suuri ja pitkä
Shakiramme viettää toista syntymäpäiväänsä 11.11.2009! Hän on
aktiivisin, leikkisin, rohkein, sopeutuvaisin, kiintynein ja
päättäväisin tyttö meidän talossa ja mikä ruokahalu! Hän söisi melkein
mitä tahansa hän saisi! Emme voi jättää mitään kahvipöytään, tai
vieraat eivät ehdi saada omia pulliaan ajoissa - hän on nopea! =)
Kaiken minkä tyttö tekee, hän tekee sen intohimolla! Olen niin
onnellinen tästä energisestä tytöstä ja toivon näkeväni hänen kanssaan
vielä monta monta vauhdikasta vuotta tästä eteenpäin! Paljon onnea
ihana tanssiva kuningattareni! Hänen "lantionsa eivät valehtele" - hän
on todellinen leidi, astellessaan ylväästi... ;-) |

The head lady of the house has her third
birthday today and she is IC Hemingway's Lady Laudine "Linda". She is
really colorful person- as she is a tortiegirl - and arranges
all kinds of hidden agenda for all of us. In her opinion others are a
bit stupid and less intelligent and won't ever understand her
brilliant ideas and inventions. While she is having fun, she is
laughing to others that " oh boy, you are boring and you know nothing
about enjoying life". Others just look at her like "yeah right,....But
still she is very good tempered and loving female and for me very dear,
because she is out of my first litter and just had to stay home. Her
motto is "Not guilty if you won't get caught!" ;)) |

Our last - but not the least - birthday
hero in this summer is of course our head of the coonieclan - Mister
Grand Old Man - Dayasagar aka Welho, who is celebrating his fifth
birthday tomorrow the 12th of August! He is the real big Daddy/GrandDaddy
of our home taking care of all his loved ones - especially all kittens
and his daughters Janski and Linda, but also other girls. The girls
really take all love & tenderness out of this "mr Big Heart" by
pushing their heads towards Welho and wanting him to wash them
and leaning on him purring. Sometimes he reminds Pablo about who is
the boss, altough boys get along very well all the time, but this "Big
Lion" still has the mental leadership in our home. He always wants to
show himself as the "first coonie in the house" purring loudly,
talking and pushing and coming onto people's lap and sleeping beside
his own person - which is me :) - in the night. He has the kindest &
sweetest personality which he has passed on to his many offspring and
Joan is a very good example of her father's sunshine nature! :-)))

Meidän viimeinen - mutta ei vähäisin- kesän
syntymäpäiväsankarimme on tottakai cooniklaanin päällikkö -
Grand Old Man - Dayasagar alias Welho, joka juhlii viidettä
syntymäpäiväänsä huomenna 12.8.2009! Hän on todella kotimme Suuri
Isukki/Isoisukki huolehtien kaikista rakkaistaan - erityisesti
pennuista ja tyttäristään Janskista ja Lindasta, mutta myös muista
tytöistä. Tytöt todellakin ottavat kaiken irti tästä "herra Suuresta
Sydämestä" työntämällä päänsä Welhoa kohti halutessaan pääpesun ja
painautuen kylkeen kehräten. Välillä hän muistuttaa Pabloa siitä, kuka
on pomo talossa, vaikka pojat tulevatkin tosi hyvin toimeen koko ajan,
niin silti tällä "Isolla Leijonalla" on henkinen johtajuus kodissamme.
Welho osoittaa olevansa aina "ensimmäinen cooni talossa" kehräten
äänekkäästi, puskien ja jutellen ja tulemalla syliin ja nukkumalla
öisin oman ihmisensä, eli minun vieressä. Welholla on ihanin ja
kiltein luonne, jonka on periyttänyt vahvasti jälkikasvulleen ja
Janski on hyvä esimerkki isänsä aurinkoisesta luonteesta! :-))) Onnea
isolle, ihanalle Aurinkoleijona -pojalleni! |

Our sunniest personality - Joan of Arc
aka Janski - is having her second birthday on the 5th of August! I can
say, she never has a bad day in general - altough she will tell to her
friends when to stop teasing her. ;)- but she is absolutely the
sunniest cat in our crew and always happy and with good mood and you
can see that in her that "Life is good and sun is shining". That is
why I love her so much - she is my greatest sun shining in my home!
She also is a great mother and with big heart, because she also took
care of her sister's - Linda's - kittens with full of joy and passion.
I am so happy to have her here, because she really shows how you can
really rise above the "problems" you might have. She can solve them
instantly with her smile making life a lot easier! :-)))

Meidän aurinkoisin persoonamme - Joan of Arc
alias Janski - täyttää kaksi vuotta 5.8.! Voin kertoa, että tällä
tytöllä ei yleensä ole koskaan huonoa päivää, vaikka kertookin
kavereilleen milloin on aika lopettaa leikit hänen päänsä menoksi ;-)
- mutta hän on ehdottomasti aurinkoisin kissa meidän porukassa ja aina
onnellinen ja hyvällä tuulella, jonka voit nähdä ikäänkuin lauseena:
"Elämä on hyvää ja aurinko paistaa!" Siksi rakastan Janskia paljon,
hän on kotimme suurin aurinko! Janski on myöskin suurella sydämellä
varustettu äiti, koska tämä tyttö hoiti omiensa lisäksi myös sisarensa
- Lindan - lapsia suurella ilolla ja intohimolla. Olen onnellinen
siitä, että Janski on täällä minun luonani, koska hän todella näyttää
minulle miten "ongelmien" yläpuolelle noustaan. Hän ratkaisee ne
välittömästi hymyllään tehden elämästä paljon helpompaa! :-)))) Onnea
auringonpaisteeni! |
